Depth Defence Logistics proudly supports Legacy, Soldier On and Australian Defence Force Reserves.

Legacy is a charity providing services to Australian families suffering after the injury or death of a spouse or parent, during or after their defence force service. They currently care for 52,000 beneficiaries, including 1,845 children and disabled dependants throughout Australia. Legacy’s work also includes protecting aging and vulnerable widows, pension advocacy, caring for dependants with disabilities.

Soldier On’s mission is to work side by side with those who serve and protect Australia, and their families, helping them to secure their future by building resilience and creating meaningful connections with family, community and employers through Health and Wellbeing services, Employment programs, Learning opportunities, and Participation activities.

All Soldier On programs are informed by the principles of Trauma Informed Care of safety, trustworthiness, choice, collaboration and empowerment. Their goal is to enable veterans and their families to thrive.

Depth Defence Logistics has taken “The Pledge” to support the employment of Defence Personnel, Veterans and their families. This means as an employer we provide flexibility to help reservists meet commitments of deployments, training, exercise and to help communities in need.

We implore other organisations to take “The Pledge” just like we have as it is very rewarding for all involved indeed.

Defence Reservists make a very valuable contribution to the community, providing assistance in times of natural disasters such as floods, tropical cyclones and fires and in emergency rescue operations.

Reservists are an integral component of Australian Defence Force capability contributing to every Defence operation and exercise. They serve alongside their full-time counterparts to help secure Australia’s borders.
