Depth Logistics has established itself in the coastal shipping market with two versatile landing craft, and high performance RHIBs capable of operating in remote areas with no berth infrastructure.
These workboat vessels operate from Darwin at our Depth Defence Logistics Centre.
We have built a strong reputation for our Absolute Reliability serving defence and government supply chains and tasks but also act for civilian clients.

Modifier
As a versatile and capable littoral shipping vessel, the Modifier is a valuable asset in supporting defence and government logistics operations, as well as commercial shipping activities along the Australian coastline.
Vessel Overview
The Modifier is a modern LCT (Landing Craft) built in 2020 and operates primarily in the remote northern regions of Australia. However, this versatile vessel is also available for domestic tasks across the country.

- Top Speed: 11.5 knots, which is fast compared to most other landing craft
- Equipped with the latest marine navigation and communication equipment
- Modifier is able to transport a wide range of cargo including containers, palletised cargo, and heavy vehicles up to 80 tonnes

Meticulous
Vessel Overview
‘Meticulous’ is a modern, highly capable rigid hull inflatable boat (RHIB) that is Darwin based. She performs crew transfers, water taxi and security boat tasks in and around Darwin Harbour. As Meticulous has a trailer, we can deploy her anywhere in Australia if required.

Operational Capabilities
Meticulous is a high speed, high buoyancy craft which consists of a reinforced fibreglass hull and inflatable gunwale. The vessel is able to operate up to 30 nm offshore in up to Beaufort wind force 7 conditions and wave heights up to 4.5m.
Meticulous’ passenger seating configuration makes her Darwin’s most highly capable crew transfer and water taxi vessel to meet civilian and navy vessels needs.
In Darwin, Meticulous is perfectly suited for submarine crew transfers and for defence training exercises. Her characteristics are similar to tactical military RHIBs.
The vessel can work in tandem with our landing craft, Modifier, and thus deliver practically every conceivable littoral capability.
Reliability and Versatility
Meticulous has two 200hp Yamaha outboards making her fast and reliable. As the vessel is fitted with warning lights and a siren, she is an imposing security boat for naval vessel security operations day and night.

Millicent
As a small inshore landing craft workboat the Millicent is able to perform personnel and cargo transport from her home port of Darwin. Due to her size and lightweight she can easily be transported by our trucking fleet to other locations Australia-wide if required
Vessel Overview
The Millicent is a modern high speed aluminium LCT (Landing Craft) capable of transporting small vehicles, palletised cargo and passengers with her AMSA 1D + 1E classification.

Operational Capabilities
As a high speed, landing craft workboat with a very shallow draft this vessel can access small creeks and rivers and other remote coastal areas and provide essential transportation services in these hard-to-reach locations. Millicent is perfect to deliver personnel and ships stores to vessels at anchor inshore.
Reliability and Versatility
The vessel has two modern Mercury outboards so is a very reliable and capable inshore landing craft that can be deployed for a wide range of tasks. These range from supporting military exercises and disaster relief efforts to facilitating the movement of small parcels of commercial goods along the domestic Australian coastline.
Maeve
Vessel Overview
Maeve is a Zodiac RIBO 450 Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB) able to perform personnel and light cargo transfers. She is a SOLAS rescue boat with a self-righting system.

Operational Capabilities
Maeve is compact, light and highly manoeuvrable. She is trailerable for deployment to wherever she is required. Additionally, being inflatable, Maeve is able to approach with minimum impact, making her ideal for transfers to seaplanes, submarines and other fragile equipment.
She is able to be lifted by crane onto the deck of a vessel utilising the factory lifting points and lifting strop arrangement. This makes her an ideal tender boat to larger vessels.

Maeve is equipped with a modern 30hp Suzuki outboard motor so is a very reliable and capable inshore vessel landing craft that can be deployed for a wide range of tasks. These range from supporting military exercises and disaster relief efforts, such as floods.
