These workboat vessels operate from Darwin at our Depth Defence Logistics Centre and are available for charter. Both can be deployed anywhere in Australia.

Modifier
As a versatile and capable littoral shipping vessel, the Modifier is a valuable asset in supporting defence and government logistics operations, as well as commercial shipping activities along the Australian coastline.
Vessel Overview
The Modifier is a modern LCT (Landing Craft) built in 2020 and operates primarily in the remote northern regions of Australia. However, this versatile vessel is also available for domestic tasks across the country.
Key Specifications
- Top Speed: 11.5 knots, which is fast compared to most other landing craft
- Equipped with the latest marine navigation and communication equipment
- Modifier is able to transport a wide range of cargo including containers, palletised cargo, and heavy vehicles up to 80 tonnes
- Cargo Capacity is 213 tonnes in total
- Modifier has an Australian ensign and crew who are fully qualified and experienced mariners
- Modifier is ITAR compliant

Maeve
Vessel Overview
Maeve is a Zodiac RIBO 450 Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB) able to perform personnel and light cargo transfers. She is a SOLAS rescue boat with a self-righting system.

- 30hp four stroke Suzuki outboard
- Top speed of 15 knots in smooth conditions
- Able to transport 5 passengers plus 1 crew member

Operational Capabilities
Maeve is compact, light and highly manoeuvrable. She is trailerable for deployment to wherever she is required. Additionally, being inflatable, Maeve is able to approach with minimum impact, making her ideal for transfers to seaplanes, submarines and other fragile equipment.
She is able to be lifted by crane onto the deck of a vessel utilising the factory lifting points and lifting strop arrangement. This makes her an ideal tender boat to larger vessels.
Reliability and Versatility
Maeve is equipped with a modern 30hp Suzuki outboard motor so is a very reliable and capable inshore vessel landing craft that can be deployed for a wide range of tasks. These range from supporting military exercises and disaster relief efforts, such as floods.

Yokohama Fenders for Hire
We have a range of pneumatic yokohama fenders available for hire that we can deliver Australia-wide via our own truck fleet.
We have pneumatic yokohama fenders with tyre chain and net PLUS sling type pneumatic rubber fenders available.
Fender sizes range from 1m(dia) x 3m up to 2.5m x 5.5m.
These fenders have high energy absorption with a low reaction force and are adjustable by changing the internal air pressure.
